Casual Child and Youth Care Worker - Tricities Program

This is an hourly position serving clients in the TriCities community. The Child and Yourth Care Worker provides one to one support to children and youth with special needs. This is a community access focusing on functional life skills and community integration. The key purpose is to help the children and youth we serve to improve their quality of life, improve social interaction, increase communication ability and recreation skills with peers, and provide opportunities to develop skills for increased indepenedence in the areas of personal care, home living and community access.

Therapeutic Supervised Access Worker

Therapeutic Supervised Access Worker - Vancouver

The Therapeutic Supervised Access Worker provides supervision and monitoring for visits between parents and their children where are are concerns for physical, psychological or emotional safety. Visits will take place in the family home, the foster family's home, or in a program community settings. Visits could be between one family or with a group of families, if this is appropriate. The Therapeutic Supervised Access Worker will or may provide transportation to and from a visit for children. This position is temporary 20 t0 25 hours per week. This position is temporary for a year and will be re-evaluated prior to the end of the year. This position may be required to work weekends and evenings as well.
