The Supervised Access Visitation program provides a safe, neutral, and child-focused setting for visits between a child and non-custodial parent or other family member. Access visits are provided by highly trained staff who are sensitive to the needs of the children, and who will support the visit and report factual observations. In some cases, Westcoast staff will engage in therapeutic support with the family and provide interventions during the visit to help the family reach their goals.
Our staff are highly experienced when it comes to the complexity of families. Supervised Access Visitation can address several situations including conflict, which may arise in custody and access disputes between two parties. We are here to provide a safe and secure environment for all parties involved.
At this time, we can only support families referred by the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).
Cash gifts allow us to go above and beyond for families, helping them to reach their full potential even faster.
