What is THE NEST?

The NEST program is designed to help children aged 0-6 prepare for kindergarten by addressing gaps in key developmental areas of nutrition, motor skills, social skills, speech, and behavior. Our goal is to help children strengthen their core skills while gaining confidence and experience.

The NEST Services:

Kindergarten Readiness Group

Help children prepare for kindergarten through activities that include circle time, creating daily schedules, snack breaks, and group or parallel play. The group is 8 weeks long and each session is designed to simulate a typical kindergarten day.

Focused Learning Program

Intended to develop or hone 1-2 key developmental areas important to NEST within the context of kindergarten readiness and fills the gap for children who cannot attend the children’s group or for those who would benefit from additional support. The Focused Learning Program can include a parent coaching component if the family desires to receive that service.

We also serve as a Resource Hub in providing referrals to other programs when necessary if neither of the two services are a fit for the child/family.
